Easter Basket 2014

Thursday, April 17, 2014

I just love this time of year and the feeling I get on Easter morning - birds chirping, nature blooming, sun shining and attending Sunday Mass celebrating our Lord's resurrection. It's also a great excuse to put together a few fun treats for the Little. Here is his basket this year.

With Tyson, we can never go wrong with some new books - perfect to bring to Easter Sunday Mass.
We are currently on a dinosaur-kick, so we had to include a near life-size velociraptor. :)
With a new season upon us and a fast growing boy, I included a few adorable t-shirts.
Books
Fruit/veggie pouches
Plastic eggs for hunting
I can't wait for him to see his basket and treats on Easter morning!! I'm pretty sure we'll be opening a pack of fruit snacks and reading his books first thing (while snuggling a dinosaur, of course). We've already practiced egg hunting, so I am looking forward to the official hunt as well.

Linking up with [the good life blog] for her 2nd Annual Easter Basket Blog Hop, and Our Journey. How fun, huh?! Check out all the adorable baskets and get some last minute ideas.

What's in your loved ones' baskets this year?

    1. The tractor book was a little random one we got at Garden Ridge that was a place holder while we waited for our Amazon order - we actually got the Little Blue Truck Leads the Way (per your recommendation). :)

    1. Thanks Megan!! I squeezed a few fruit snacks in some of the eggs, but we aren't into much candy with him so I suppose the eggs were just for looks/hunting. :)
