Stitch Fix: [#1]

Tuesday, May 26, 2015

It was a great extra long weekend relaxing, spending time with family, and checking a few things off my list(s), including a first class ticket on the bandwagon.. My first Stitch Fix arrived, and I was just as nervous as I was excited!! I always love seeing what everyone else gets, so here is my first fix.

Kut from the Kloth - Denna Skinny Jean
Jeans are tough, so I didn't have high expectations for these, but I slid them on and was pleasantly surprised..!! Although this front angle isn't necessarily flattering in this picture, they are comfortable and fit nicely. Even with summer right around the corner, I can see these still getting a lot of wear; I also know it would take probably 2-3 stores and trying on at least 10+ pairs for me to find a good fit so I'm happy to have these delivered to my door.
Kept.

Tart - Kaylie Solid French Terry Blazer
I knew right off the bat this was going back. I definitely don't need another black jacket/blazer, and it just doesn't fit into my daily wardrobe any more.
Returned.

Collective Concepts - Cynthia Graphic Print Mixed Material Top
I liked the idea of this top, but the front neckline isn't my favorite. I actually already have a navy top like this with a front print/solid back, so besides not being extremely flattering, not necessary.
Returned.

Skies and Blue - Folla V-neck Knit Top
This top was a bit boxy, which is fine, and actually was longer than I expected - but for a thin, plain t-shirt - not worth $38 to me.
Returned.

41Hawthorn - Colibri Solid Tab Sleeve Blouse
This top is totally my style. The cut, length, tab sleeves. Only problem is I have a few tops like this already, even close in color, so I don't need it.. Although I do like this style/fabric a little better than what I currently have. Still deciding but will most likely return.

Overall, my first fix was mostly what I expected - some decent pieces and a few bombs. I know I need to refine my style profile and it will hopefully get even better the next go-round.
Now, hop on the wagon with me, help feed my shopping habits, and use my referral link. Please. :)

  1. I returned the same blouse in white even though I liked it. It was a tad see through. I should ask for that color!

  2. I think I am the only one in the world NOT on this band wagon yet and I need to! I'm thinking of asking for it for my bday... in Sept :) I just don't feel like I can justify the cost right now unless it's a gift, so we will see! Fingers crossed. I LOVE seeing everyone else's fix's though and maybe I should start a Pinterest board just in case :) Jeans delivered to my door that actual fit... sign me up!

  3. Too bad you don't need the blazer, it looks lovely on you! Can't go wrong with a jeans keeper though. I always like seeing peoples stitch fix.
